The Ramblings of a Racer

Normally I wouldn't make fun of a song I like as much as the original version of this, but I had the singer in the video send me a link and ask me to post it :)

I recently found that I am now able to accept file uploads from all of our readers. So, if you have a picture, video, or even mp3 you'd like to share, you can upload that to us on the 'Contact Us!' page! We look forward to seeing all of your pictures :)

*sigh* Finally Sunday. But do I get to relax? Of course not! No, instead, I got to get up at 8 in order to make it to church by 8:55, so I don't get yelled at to show up earlier, and so we can record our pastor (Pastor Dave Bechtel who I swear to... well, I swear, he is the fastest talking man on earth) throughout the sermon. And, of course, it can't just be a routine thing. No, today, our equipment decided to all shut off the minute our worship section started. So here we have Keith (who isn't a bad singer... or pianist, for that matter) up on stage singing with the band, and our WebCaster shuts down, along with the recording mix and soundboards. Great! Finally, Chip (the tech department lead) gets it all running good again, now we have to start. As always, the sermon runs long, no big deal. Now it's over, I can leave! I get to relax now, right? Wrong. Now I get to go to Old Country Buffet. Now don't get me wrong, they're a good restaurant, but I have never seen so many people jammed into a booth before. I am literally tripping on little kids. ;) I survived, but barely. Now I sit at my keyboard typing this once again totally random post, and wish for something to do, someone to talk to. Makayla's at church, my parents are busy with the Super Bowl (Go Colts!). Maybe I'll play a random game or something... Or there IS a fog machine downstairs that needs fixing... Either way, I should probably get going. See you next time!

P.S. Thanks for all the emails! I appreciate it!

I never thought I'd be one to publicly write my thoughts, but now here I am. If you read the welcome page, you know that I won't be able to update this everyday. Between school, my amazing girlfriend (I love you Makayla), my friends, and my family, I don't have a lot of time to write down my thoughts. But I'll update it a few times a week. Anyway, whether you know me or not, I'm going to introduce myself. I wrote a small autobiography below my picture at the top of this page but now I'll go beyond that. I am 14, turning 15 on March 2nd, 2010. Currently, I am dating the most amazing girl in the world, Makayla Holstein. I asked her out on September 30th, 2009, and our love has only grown stronger since. I'd write about her all day, but it might start to bore you. So. I am currently a freshman at The Delta High School in Richland, Washington, and couldn't love it more. I left a lot of friends behind when transferring to Delta, but since August of 2009, I've had the chance to work around some of the smartest and coolest people I've met, and I've gotten the chance to be involved in things I never dreamed possible. Now, I'm not saying that Delta High doesn't have it's problems (because God knows it does!), but I will say that the positives outweigh the negatives (at least so far). I need to stop thinking about school on a weekend :P Anyway, four years ago my family bought a cabin in Tollgate, Oregon, and we first went snowmobiling. I loved it from the first time I wrapped my finger around that throttle and I haven't looked back since. For Christmas in 2009, my parents gave me the greatest gift I could ever ask for: A 2008 Yamaha Phazer MTX racing snowmobile. I have since managed to roll it (Oops), but it's still in great riding condition, and going strong. If any of you reading this happen to snowmobile, send me a message through the "Contact" page, and we can talk sleds. Anyway, it's time for me to call it a night here, I should go call Makayla now :) Make sure you come back soon to read the next post, and Happy Riding to all you snowmobilers out there!

My name is Justin Bazinet, but I go by "The Rambling Racer". I am a diehard snowmobiling fan, and my blood is the color of Yamaha Royal Blue. Brand loyalty runs deep, and I recently managed to obtain the ultimate show of commitment, a 2008 Yamaha Phazer MTX snowmobile. Thanks to my parents :) But you'll see more about me as you read the blog posts here. Happy Reading!
